As I'm looking at buying a new cutter I wondered what everyone though about the different models.
My CX24 was always excellent so the GX24 looks like an obvious choice but I'm curious to try one of the newt Graphtec models as well
Only interested in the better quality machines for this, not Chinese.

We've got a GX-24, it's pretty robust and extremely quick!

I have the Graphtec CE5000-60 and it is excellent. It always cuts cleanly and accurately and is 'easy' on blades. I just replaced mine after over 4 years of cutting only due to having to cut some pretty thick, tough flouro vinyl. Highly recommended.

I also went for the Graphtec CE6000. It's built like a tank, very accurate, and very quite compared to the silouhette. You should definiately have a look at one before you make your final decision.

Still looking at both the Roland and the Graphtec, very tempted to try the Graphtec for a change
What software does the Graphtec use? The software with the Silhouette is very good. Is this Windows only or will it run on Mac?

I saw the graphtec at FESPA last week and it was fantastic, when it comes to upgrading my cameo it's gonna take a lot for me not to get it. I've also seen the gx-24 in action and while it is good, I personally feel that the graphtec looks sturdier and would last longer with the longer cutting sessions.

Just secured a GX24 at a really good price, hopefully it'll make it here in one piece! So the decision was made for me based upon a very good deal
