Re: Is an OKI C610 and WOW the way to go?

A customer is looking for 150 tshirts (in a variety of colours - red, purple, black, white.... and sized from kids XL to female XXL and male XXL) with the a name on the back (like a football top), the company logo (which is in white, and too small to do in vinyl - it would take.... forever as it's too complex) and a rainbow coloured graphic under the logo.

Looking around it seems that its too difficult to do for vinyl, too many colours and too expensive for a plastisol transfer, so I've been doing some investigating.

Would an colour laser printer with WOW paper the best solution to this or am I missing a trick somewhere and it's much easier/cheaper/less time to do in some other format? If a colour laser is the way to go, what would people recommend?

it would be best if you could show us the artwork.
In my experience, WOW is only worth doing if combined with a laser printer that can print WHITE!
the oki 711w and wow 7.5 are great, but the printer is 2k and media about £3 an a4 set (to drop soon ......?????)
previous wow is not viable inho
show us the logo !

Ditto on logo bear.

Like Logo I have the white system but also have a versacam. Depending on the logo depends on which system I use although I am moving more and more towards OKI White and WOW

Its a complex logo with lots of fine white lines (and I do mean *fine* - less than .5mm at the size they want) with the company name under it in a Script font. It's a bugger and no mistake - they also want it to be around 8cm wide x 4cm tall.

As you can see it's a pain in the backside especially at such a small size, but a white version (with the rainbow bar) is acceptable to the customer on dark tshirts.

Definitely something for an OKI white system

If the total width of the logo is 95mm wide (for example) you can get about 22-26 on an A4 sheet. so 150 logos is only 6-7 sheets (plus say a couple more for overs).

If you do not have a white system then I suggest various members on here will be able to help.

I would but am a tad busy. Both Logo Bear and Jason have OKI White system and there are probably others who I have forgotten about. Post a thread in the member to member offers and I am sure someone will be able to give you a good price on these.

£2k for an OKI white system tho.... it isn't viable for 150 TS :(
especially as the backs would be at least A4 wide, so you're talking 1 sheet each.
