Hi guys. quick few words about my last experience with Longforte.
I bought some slates few months ago. they arrived very quick. one of the slates was the large clock one you can find on their site. they are lovely and glossy.
after few months i get round to print the clock and what i noticed after opening the box was lack of the clock mechanism. the main thing that make movements move :)
All fittings, stands and screws was there. lovely movements too. but clock was missing.
As i mentioned i bought them good few months a go so not the most recent orders :)

I emailed Miranda from Longforte about it and asked if i can buy this bit.
unfortunately they don't sell spares ;( but...
Miranda offered to send me one any way! this clock is for present that need to be finished and ready for monday.
friday i received special delivery "guaranteed before 1o'clock" package :) bubble envelope with all movements but no clock! :)
after reading my email to Miranda i noticed how crap my english was and i confused her :) so she was not sure what actual parts i had and what ones was missing.

guess what???? today morning, about 8.57 door bell when. It was post man with another bubble envelope with "guaranteed before 1 o'clock" stamp on the bubble envelop with correct bit inside!!! saturday!!! only so i can finish my clock and give it as a present on monday. Longforte when out of pocket jus to deliver £2 worth bit to me. dont know about you guys but this is one of the best customer care i received for long, long time!
This just proved to me that i should stick with Longforte when i buy my clocks and slates. I recommend them to every one and i always will.

thanks!

Hi Jay

I recently purchased some items from you as well and I have to agree with Paul, Miranda was superb in dealing with things.

Great when you get customer service like that from a company Paul.
When we deal with fellow members of the forum I suppose we don't think of it as dealing with a company, but I recently had a customer problem concerning a vinyl that socialgiraffe had printed for me, (which seemed to me as though it was the customers fault).
So I contacted Simon, and he fixed the problem at no cost to me.
So a big star for Simon.

I've only ordered a mugs from Longeforte and when they turned up, at least 15 of them were cracked/unuseable - but they were very good and refunded me the cost of the broken mugs! So thank you Longforte

Glad everyone else has had good dealings with them, I've had nothing but problems with them and their clock parts! Got 5 clocks that need to be out this week yet 4/5 parts are the wrong size. Called them up and they tell me they are out of stock yet they are still selling the clocks. Can anyone recommend somewhere else for clocks please?

Thanks
