Hi
I have my heat press sorted and am now deciding on a printer. I think I've decided on a Ricoh as I don't want the hassle of a CISS just yet. I will be printing text, vector graphics and photos on teddy tops so not t-shirts etc so for size the A4 should be fine but with the A3 you can get high capacity carts. I'm trying to find out how often I will need to replace the carts to see if it's worth getting the A3 because of the high capacity carts.

Thanks for your help
Lianne

The short answer Lianne, for what you're printing is, you will not be changing cartridges very often. At all. I honestly wouldn't go near an A3 printer for that sort of output.

You'll have to forgive me for not actually answering that question.

The Epson 4015 is a reliable A4 office printer with high capacity cartridges. The blank carts can be bought from cityinkexpress or you can buy SublijetR inks if you want the support.

Printers don't come with USB cables, they stopped that maybe ten years ago? You can pick them up for a couple of quid.

Hi, Have I misunderstood what high capacity cartridges are as I thought they just had more ink in them but the cartridges for the Epson 4015 have the same amount of ink (29ml) as cartridges for the Ricoh 3110? The Epson seems to have a higher resolution of 720 whereas the Ricoh is 600 so is the Epson better for photos?
