does anyone use a separate/external waste tank on there 1500 ?

I have had and used and still use (The Latest being a R1500W) Epson printers from the C's, D's & R's ranges and re-set the waste tank counters on each (apart from the R1500W which I know can be re-set like the others) more than 3 times and never had one overflow and leak to have the need for a plastic takeaway box attached to the printers.

By the time you may ever need an external waste tank your print heads would have already worn out!

I had the octoinkjet solo system on my 1400 I was amazed at how much ink it collected. A little fiddly to fit but worked without problems. Unfortunately the paper feed mechanism failed on the printer so there it sits, black, pristine and useless in my garage.
