Hi

I have a Ricoh SG3110DN which came up with an error 28212 the other day (I posted on here then too!), Which I cleared today with the help of a youtube video. But now when printing, I have faint lines coming through which ive been told could be the printheads? I've done a nozzle check and clean and that hasn't helped.

Any advice?

Sounds like its printing in economy/low res mode which is the default.

Make sure its set to photo quality mode.

I've posted on this specific point before, but if your SG3110 is within warranty then DO NOT do this without contacting your supplier. Your supplier will supply a free set of SubliJet-R cartridges, once verified with Sawgrass, otherwise you are going to perform a deep head clean and full reset procedure wasting a significant amount of ink with no recompense from your supplier.

Hi, I saw your comments on the other thread about contacting the supplier. Unfortunately I am out of warranty :( I did try my suppliers (lovecut) but didn't get much joy - understandably as it was out of warranty I guess. It does seem to be working at the moment though so i will use it as long as possible and I shall start saving the pennies for a replacement printer!
