Re: Ricoh SG2100N for sublimation

Right, so another thread got me thinking about Ricohs.
Sawgrass promote the Ricoh SG3110DN as their Ricoh A4 option.
now, these cost about £100 as a printer alone.
Looking at Ricoh's website, they have a lower cost SG2100N, which is a little smaller and lighter than the 3110, but has the same spec (as far as I could see), uses the same ink carts, and is only £60
If they print similar then the Sawgrass ICC for the 3110 should do for using Sawgrass carts.
Now, this means you could get up and running for about the same price as buying the whole lot from one dealer, so no real advantage there (LOL) but could prove useful if you have a 3110 that has died outside of warranty and still have ink in stock.
Or if you wanted to try some experiments with other inks in refill carts, or a cheap printer to use with all the spare standard Ricoh carts BMS have lying around that they could sell you cheaply.
E2A - Google shopping shows dealers in Europe who will sell this printer for £30 inc shipping to UK.
