I am just trying to print some placemats. The image is black and white but the blacks are coming out mottled. Has anybody got any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Tried again this morning and am still getting a mottled effect in the middle of the place mats. I am giving up with them now. Wasted too much time and money on them now!!! Yet coasters are printing fine.

coasters are smaller, so heat may be more even. is it possible you have a big cold spot in the middle?
