Can anyone recommend a good 3d sublimation vacuum machine, I've had a look at the one at BMS site would like feed back on this one and any other that any one has or tried. I've read so much about various ones that sing their own praises , but its not the same as people that have used them any advice would be welcome

I have a variation of the BMS machine. It did come from them (via someone else who I purchased secondhand from). Not sure if its exactly the same machine as mine is black, perhaps Martin or Scotty will be able to confirm if there are any differences and if so what they are.

As far as the machine is concerned, I think overall its a pretty good machine and worth the money.

My only small concern is the temperature seems to vary by a considerable amount. One second its 380 degrees (f) and the next its 300. I am not sure if that is the sensor being too sensitive or something else, but it does not seem to affect the results so have ignored it for now.

I think this machine is probably aimed at small business, good enough to run all day and can mass produce various items when required.

The trick to a 3D machine is mastering the printing of the products using an oven. Its quite a learning curve, even for someone with dye sub experience, however if you have used a standard oven for other items then you are halfway there.

Thanks for that, do you use your machine alot, and what extras would you recommend I buy, I have used a oven. I don't want to use it for mugs, the phones covers slates and what else that is on the market

I only use it for Phones but may purchase some mug wraps from BMS for a special project that I may have.

I have not used it that much as I have been busy with other things, but now my new website is live I hope to be using it a lot more.

When I have used it, either for singles or the occasional bulk order of 100+ cases it has performed well.

Key thing to note, always make sure your puck is hot... very hot....

I think I shall be using it only for phones. but wonder should I go for something smaller or is this the best one on the market, and does it do most of the phones puck

I have that same 'big black' vacuum press and, despite having issues with the hoses breaking, the machine itself has been great. I put my hose breakages down to having only one jig for each phone model (originally) so if I had to make fifty cases then it was fifty runs of the machine for 3.5 minutes at a time, so constant opening and closing of the lid for close to three hours and it causes the hoses to rupture quicker. Switched to a polyester-threaded hose and have had no issues since. I use my machine for phone cases, mugs, and plates.

Thanks for that, I'm getting nearing to buying it, just got to find out what phone pucks to pick, as being a old fart knowing about phones is not high on my list
