Re: Faint transfer to Crystal Block

<t>Hi Justin! Thanks for getting back to me. No not using a foam pad as someone recommended having the white side of the block facing the heat with the transfer on top.<br/>

I don't have a foam pad, would you recommend that?<br/>

Also, would you recommend pre-pressing the item to get rid ...

Re: Faint transfer to Crystal Block

<t>Hi, I've recently tried making a Large Crystal Block - Square Corners - 9 x 13 cm from SubliBlanks.<br/>

Followed their guide settings of 180°C for 160 seconds but the transfer is faint and slighlty blotchy. Someon ein the past told me due to it being a glass product that I can see how much ...

Re: Issues with print smdge on durham mugs

<t>Hi, hope you're well. When I print durham mugs I often get smudges at the top - only happens with Durhams. Any ideas how to stop this? I have tried with the paper a few mm's shorter than the mug and also a few mm's longer than the mug. Made on a mug press.<br/>

Thanks in advance<br/>

<t>Hi, hope you're all well. Fairly new to the sublimation game.<br/>

To date I have been using Nova Chrome's durham mugs (Rhino Coated) but have seen that they also sell Orca coating. Just wondering what the difference is? Also what type do you guys use & why?<br/>

Thanks in advance</t>

Re: Cork Placemats - Absolute Bargain

<t>I use the Unisub placemats and in my experience they do warp slightly. Although I have a solution that seems to be working well for me. I press them at 180c for 120s white face up, then press them white face down for 60s before letting them to cool on a flat surface white side up. Once cool, they ...

Re: Whats your sublmation setup like?

Cheers! Yeah, I can appreciate that as we have a photography business and it's always changing. Can I ask what do you use to hold stock? Racking? And on what do you house your preses? Worktops or tables?
