Re: Epson L1800 printing colour cast at top of sheet (random!)

<r>Hi folks<br/>
<br/>
New one on me -<EMOJI seq="1f615" tseq="1f615">:confused:</EMOJI> my Epson L1800 has started printing a slightly off-colour / wrong colour / colour cast band at the top of some sheets. Band is about 3-4cm wide, fades in and fades out, and colour seems to be on the yellow side ...

Re: Subli printer profiles

<r>Hi - my Epson L1800 and my (colorimeter profiled and adjusted) monitor seem to be having a difference of opinion about what 'grey' looks like (blue-grey on screen comes out almost forest green on prints). Nozzles etc all OK.<br/>
<br/>
I'm using the subli profile that came with the printer ...

Re: Fabric placemat - non printing lines

<t>Yes, you're probably right. Frustrating tho - I would have concluded that it was a lost cause immediately if it wasn't for the first two or three, which printed absolutely fine, but were a bit overcooked. Hence trying to recreate the "correct" conditions. I print quite a few lighter coloured mats ...

Re: Fabric placemat - non printing lines

<r>Dear Hive Mind,<br/>
<br/>
I'm printing some dark grey placemats (double-sided stitched linen-look type) and the internal seam is creating an INCREDIBLY ANNOYING <E>:mad:</E>:mad::mad: step in the fabric, which is resulting in a pale line around parts of the edge.<br/>

I have been through ...

Re: Heat press upgrade - recommendations please

<t>Hi folks<br/>
<br/>
My HP3805 is on it's way out (lever mechanism is grinding and lopsided despite lubrication and relatively light use). I'm looking for an A3+ swing-away replacement, budget of up to £2k.<br/>
<br/>
I do a lot of tiles, coasters, glass chopping boards, bar mats etc. I'm a ...

<t>... does anyone know of a way to remove or reduce an unwanted faint ink bleed on a substrate? <br/>
<br/>
I am trying to learn how to print bowls using a wrap and oven system (a setup I ditched ages ago as too unreliable and WAY too much faff). Keep getting perfectly usable bowls but with a faint ...

Re: Heat press cool spots

<r>Thanks everyone. I think you may have solved my problem!<br/>
I didn't realise the cover came off the platen so I took the rubber sheet off and turned it over & through 180 degrees. Seems to have solved it, at least for now.<br/>
I'm also going to take Mrs Maggot's advice to lubricate the pivot ...
