Hi folks
My HP3805 is on it's way out (lever mechanism is grinding and lopsided despite lubrication and relatively light use). I'm looking for an A3+ swing-away replacement, budget of up to £2k.
I do a lot of tiles, coasters, glass chopping boards, bar mats etc. I'm a designer making my own items to sell, rather than a print shop. So although I do 200-500 pieces a week, I don't need anything really industrial.
I was hoping for Pressmech as they get such good reviews, but their current A3 one is a bag press on a taller frame, which is going to make it too high to use comfortably in the spot I have for it. The A2 is a workable height but just TOO damn big!
The alternative seems to be a very expensive version of the HP3805 - (think it's made by Stahl's) Hotronix Fusion IQ.
It is basically the same design as the HP3805 (which works in my space) and the pull out platen is a big plus. But it has a lot of electronic bells and whistles I don't need. And it's right at the top of my budget.
Anyone got any sage advice? Should I buy the HP four times over, or the Stahl's once. Or something else entirely?
TIA!
Ruth

Nova Chrome sell the regular height A3 Pressmech, in white. it is unbranded on their site, but it is a Pressmech. Only comes with the regular A3 platen, not the 3 platen kit so £300+ cheaper.

No Brainer, Pressmech. We've had one for many years now and swear by it.
