Re: Corel Draw driving me nuts

Post by mrs maggot »

been using corel for years, now suddenly, every time i move something it creates a duplicate, as i move it, i have tried google, which thinks i may have a stuck keyboard, although its all working fine, has anyone else had this issue, as you can imagine, its making it impossible to work with.

things i have tried so far:

re-booting the programme
control key x5 to make sure the sticky keys programme is not on
cleaning the keyboard, and unplugging and re-plugging in the mouse

HI Mrs Maggot,
How about a sticky mouse as you can create a duplicate with that by holding one key key down on the object and clicking the other you probably know this already but just a thought,

i tried cleaning the mouse at the same time, but you can never be certain its not playing up, so tomorrow i will go out and get another one, as that is exactly what its like - using the short cut, without wanting the short cut if that makes sense. I have not noticed the mouse misbehaving on anything else - but you never know will keep you updated, at the moment i am just happy someone knew what i was saying, as its not easy to explain lol

As well as the above check the following:

PREFERENCES (CTRL J)
> TOOLBOX
>>PICK TOOL

Make sure that CTRL & SHIFT keys are set to traditional Coreldraw

It shouldn't make a blind bit of difference, but worth checking.

This happened to me as well. I cant remember 100% what I did but I think
I solved the problem by changing the battery in my Blue tooth mouse.
