Seller doesn't appear to reply to enquirers but seems a bit expensive (my private joke with Arfermo)

Another hacked ebay account maybe ?? they generally target any item around the 2/3k mark, embroidery machines are another favourite, in the cars section they also favour T4's

he replied to me, he said he tried a couple of times, he's new to ebay so maybe he doesn't know what he's doing. He bought it from Xpres in 2010, only really used the cutter and never had it serviced so i was worried about problems with nozzles and heads etc.

Didn't think they came out till 2011/12 Head is a concern if it's not been used or maintained. At the very least needs to have power left on at all times and used weekly to keep things flowing.

maintenance cycles will have used a full set of carts in about 18 months or quicker even if it had not been used for printing at all so waste ink would have been changed a few times.

another one just came up on ebay here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/roland-versas ... 2809bb78b4 and I asked the following:-

Has the printer been left on all the time so it can run it's cleaning cycles etc? are any of the nozzles blocked when you run a nozzle check? have you ever had it serviced or signed up to the roland warranty programme. Any parts been replaced or had any problems with it. What do you class as hardly used? what did you print on it? Do the un-used carts have dates on them?

and got this reply

The machine has never been serviced and we have not had it on the whole time (this was not adviced by xpres when we bought it)

We have had it signed up to the roland warranty programme.

The machine has been used once a week for a couple of runs. We have only used it for garments.

We haven't had any problems with the machine, but we have taken out the paper clips (as per image) to allow us to allow us to use different types of vinyl.

The date on the ink says 20150101 which I assume is the manufacturing date since we bought them from xpres less than four months ago.

I thought you had to leave them on and if you paid for the roland warranty then doesn't that include a free service? I obviously would like to save 2k on a new one but then i don't want to get conned with one that is going to break etc

Thanks
Lianne
