Paper Samples
Re: Paper Samples
bought this paper from another supplier to try....
same results as the XPRES value papers tbh (£9+).....prints well on all things we have fired it onto...
but unless it was cheaper, i really dont see any reason to move to this new stuff, and from the prices i have seen suppliers selling it at, it aint....sorry !

Thanks for the feedback, it's good to know it's worked on everything you've tried it with.
From a pricing perspective, it's currently cheaper than TruPix by £3.69 per pack on A4 and £10.36 on A3 with current levels. I don't think that A3 price will be like that forever from our UK distributors as honestly there isn't an A3 paper that gets close in pricing.
As you've mentioned, it's marginally cheaper on A4 (84p) with Xpres, but again, it's £7.50 cheaper on A3.
I'd prefer you saved the 84p per pack, or better still £7.50 per pack on A3 but I'll leave that decision up to you!
Thanks again
Best regards,
Jimmy

I'm a firm believer in finding something that works well and then sticking with it rather than chopping and changing all the time to save a penny here and there, so to start of with something worthwhile instead of trying many different ranges would be an ideal start for us.

Hi Jimmy , I like your paper JetStream Digital ..Great results great paper...But your Distributors keeping a big margin on them it seems ( I saw you mention u r looking for £5-6 ) ....This is just a suggestion why cant you sell them retail your self for a better price and you will get many sales for sure ...Just an Idea tho ....

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like it.
I think you are referring to my post saying I'd like the paper to be £3-5 cheaper than TruPix - which is something that is happening currently on A4, and even more so on A3.
There are a few reasons that we use distributors:
End users generally like to order multiple supplies at once, so having everything in one place is a good option via resellers. Added to this, we can hold stock in multiple countries across the globe to ensure customers are only looking at 1-2 day lead times.
We can get our products to the marketplace faster by using established and trusted resellers, as the vast majority of end users within printing stay loyal to good service.
Outside of the UK, where language can become crucial, we empower our resellers with marketing materials and product information, so they can translate and grow the product within that local market.
There are plenty more reasons, but we really value a reseller/distribution network, and plan to continue to add throughout the EU and ROW in due course.

Jimmy
