Profiles don't always resolve ink issues if the ink is of such poor quality it is simply unable to reproduce the colours.

Well, The seller sent me some ICC profiles, had a right mare getting them to work on one of my accounts on the mac, googled its with the new OS, i've followed there walk around but no lucky! :(

I've got the profiles on my admin account so i've been playing around, i know i didn't flip it, school boy error, im learning but thats not my problem.

the blue in the flag looks alright, little blurry round the edges, but i expanded a jpg, possibly its that and there is a clear box where i've the paper has been and that doesn't come off.

I've been pressing on 180 for 120 secs.

Any ideas?

Once i've used up these is there a way i can flush the remaining ink in the tubes and put some better inks in?

Ricky.

Don't know why my photos are getting rotated, sorry if i've given any of you bad necks.

It wasn't intentional. :)

your ink could be of good quality but you will need to use right settings to get most out of it. your photos in did show profile issues.
I would also recommend to run nozzle check to make sure all nozzles are working.

ps. when you trying new profile, use photo with more then one or two colours.
try this image as it contains all data you could possibly need. Gradients, colours, skin tones.

Thanks Paul, that printed a treat, i've changed my temp to 170 for 120 seconds now too, do you know why the black works on the photo you sent be but i brought some text into the same file, deleted the background (your image) then added some text to it in black and a scottish flag from google but the text is still pressing browny/patchy almost.

You need a document workspace profile of Adobe RGB 1998, and the profile you have been supplied is for the printer (when you go to print, select photoshop manages colours, and the supplied printer profile here)

Thanks, i've used those settings, it makes things a bit better, i feel like im almost there.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yo6w7evagi3p ... x2Aka?dl=0 - These are some i've done using them, i've about sussed the profiles but i recon my heat press / temp / time could be causing the black to go patchy.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/blso6f0tjihl ... KsMda?dl=0 I know the image color isn't great on phone camera with the glare from the glass doesn't help either but i hope you can see that the start of the print is fine, black, little bit fuzzy but the black is black, as it works round there is a patch on the y and g and a little patch on the ee where it's not black, it's more brown and it seems to leave a light grey overlay where my paper is.

Any ideas? btw, thanks for all the help so far, i wouldn't have been doing jack without this, thanks.

Ricky.
