ST-3042 broken temp gauge?

Hi Guys,

Quick question; have set and trying to get this vacuum pump press working. Is it normal during turning on and first heating for the temp gauge to say 00? Have attached pic. Seems to be heating up and fans spinning, but after 5 mins or so still sitting at 00 and very hot and trips out the main RCD.

Just in case anyone does have the same problem; it was broken; unit now replaced and working fine

It was probably the thermostat.
