Please help - icc profiles? What on earth is this

its a new printer so only had what i put in and i have even printed a lot off to ensure its all coming through ok

Although you will need a ICC or Powerdriver from that pic I would say the ink isn't sublimation ink, has your printer had regular ink in it at any point in its life?

no hun i havent got asda ones they are double coated sub mugs

can you tell where those are coming from?
if they are real coated mugs then your ink is not sublimation ink...

yer i have emailed where i got ink from asking what they will do about it, it seems to be going towards that way to me from all the lovely advise i am getting i would be totally lost with out all this help thank you

I have the same issue I started doing this about 2 months ago and after issue upon issue I'm at the stage where black comes off as brown now. I was getting the yellow for a long time. Trying to increase and decrease my temp and time. I spent a lot of time on google trying to self evaluate once I contacted my suppliers they could see what I was doing they recommended 190 c for 150 seconds which gave what is pictured below. (blues greens browns etc)

The ink suppliers have been very helpful with my issues asking for pictures when doing things particular ways for them. They have came back to me saying its either my cups, the ink (which they sold me for the purpose im using it for) or the paper I am printing on.

Paper and cups came as a package deal with no information on my paper which the ink suppliers have been sent samples of. Right now I am sitting with a Ricoh SG2100n as well having bought refillable cartridges from a company on ebay and have put sublimation ink which the supplier claims are specially made for sublimation and heat press images for the Ricoh 2100, currently going through google to see about ICC's or at least the settings for coral before continuing on, and now that I've rambled on I shall continue the search.

I was being told by someone else who does sublimation that the best way to check your ink is an old white t-shirt, print an image off and press it onto it. If the images comes off good then your ink is right.

To anyone reading this in the coming months - talk to your suppliers, they are more than happy to help, because if they get you running they get more business overall! search engines have alot of answers but if your new to sublimation it's okay to be annoying.

This thread is nearly a year old, better to start your own

For the record, the 2100 printer was tested and found not to be well suited to sublimation. 3110 is a better choice, Epson 1500 better still.

Hummmmm really looks like not sublimation ink, more like ordinary domestic ink jet ink.

this was the first post that came up on my google when I searched for Ricoh ICC, when i had seen they were basically at the stage I was last week and nothing in addition posted I wanted to add to it incase they had totally given up

I don't know why I went for the 2100, there was something I googled at the time and it seemed like a logical solution for my needs.

I am thinking the same on the ink side of things, but I'm trusting the experts and taking there word for it until they say its not the right ink so I can slap them for sending me the wrong stuff

I was all too happy the other day to get those cups like that... I have about 70 sitting in the house that all look like this.

Hello, new member here.
i understand there is an I've profile for the sg2100n
I bought mine as it's a much cheaper start up option, if it's worthwhile and I get enough work I will upgrade but for now, I need the profile as my prints aren't the best. The black is coming out brownish, and gradients aren't coming out right either.
if someone can point me in the direction of someone that can help I would appreciate it very much,
