In the printer set up, the document profile shows as SRGB. Is this because the file was created in this profile? I try to change to ProPhoto RGB in the Printer Profile underneath but doesn't update the Document profile.

settings for powerdriver are Srgb, for direct its ADOBE RGB but switch off profile in printer driver and use photoshop or illustrator to do colour, prophoto is wayyyyy too big a profile its basically what camera raw is.

I can see you are all queing up in anticipation waiting to respond to my previous 10 posts in this thread. Well you can hold off for now as the mayor of Newcastle Mags has saved the day by remote accessing my PC. I Powerdriver is garbage. Back on Adobe 1998. Cheers everyone, I knew that something could be done:)

sorry, missed all this yesterday - if Mags didn't point this bit out - in proofing, device to simulate is your printer - you need to select your printer ICC here, and this should give you a good representation of what is going to print out, for you to then make the necessary tweaks.
