I never seen water coming out but air.....and I never bother to put it out and don't think its toxic...

Thanks I forgot to ask is it essential to download icc colour profiles am getting very very low contrast prints from new ricoh printer , spoke to apple for about an hour and basically just said its not the computer ....

Yes, you will need an ICC profile or PowerDriver (for Sawgrass Inks) for the colours to print accurately. Also remember with Dye Sub inks, the printed page will look very different compared to when its pressed. Its the pressed substrate (product) that you need to compare the image on the screen to and not the printed paper.

Hi and thank you For posting this valuable info. I'm in the process of buying one these machines and this review really helped. Have you tried film transfer and compared it to paper you use? I've heard the results are better in terms of color vibrancy, contrast & saturation. Keep up the good work.
