What a difference a mug makes!!
Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Hearing good things about Signzworld Orcas from other forum members. I wouldn't switch to the Subliblanks from BMS as there isn't enough price difference tbh. But with the amount of mugs I expect to shift over the next 6 months I need to save as much as I can on my price per unit if I am going to be able to survive as a business

Although I've mentioned this before on another thread last year, all the gift shops in Florida we visited sold mugs that were all orca stamped. With orca being 30-40p less than the brilliant RN then it does make you think who is making the money on RN (suppliers or manufacturers).

Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Does anyone use the CoralGraph "orca" coated 10oz mugs? As mentioned earlier they are the cheapest mug now with DSF discount (63p inc vat).
Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Has to be the supplier surely, especially with the amount of mugs they are shifting per annum.
When I found out earlier in the week that European mugs are not made in Europe I was rather p'd off after telling my key retail stockists across the country they are European made. It has been my major USP and was for this reason that I was more than happy to pay the extra premium. I now have no idea where my mugs come and am none the wiser about RN coating. We all know it is patented from the US, but what's to say it isn't mixed together in a factory in a slave labour camp in Thailand?
Orca, RN, Duraglaze... Mug politics IMO.

@gary...spot on press m8....
top to bottom every time.
take your time and set it up right with times/temps/papers etc, and it superb. - best bit of cash i ever spent
got a question for you all on here regrading mugs
how do you know that any of these uk suppliers are not full of it......oh, yes, they are orca this, the best that, whiter than that RN, Duraglaze and all the rest
can suppliers not stick a sticker on the ass of a mug and call it orca ? and charge more for it ? whether that be at factory or in there own warehouse = china/Thai will not give a toss what they put on it as long as they getting the sales to suppliers in bulk
or say it better quality than the other ones we sell, when in fact, they all look the dam same ??...and some even say they come from same factory, so how you know they aint talking a lot of crap ?
all you got is a suppliers word that it is what it is.....and i still think theres a wee scam going on with all the orca and other diff kinds of so called mugs doing the rounds....they all nearly the same mugs with different names applied to broaden the appeal to buying public, and of course make more money for the uk supplier
