I have been pondering, I profile chromalux panels on high gloss panels because that is what I print on. Now if I am being really fussy I would say there is room for improvement, but have always worked on this being limitations of sublimation.
However today a photographer / printer said he avoids profiling on gloss papers and uses their closest option that isn't gloss, as the reflection can throw profiling slightly. Now this made me wonder about my comment above.
As I only carry gloss chromalux in stock, I can't run off and play straight away.
So any comments / experience/ thoughts from those who profile?

Re: ICC on Gloss or matt?
you can put a polarisation filter on high end measuring devices to eliminate the problem but otherwise put a matte varnish on your product to measure.
