Setting up Ricoh 3110

Hi

Am I imagining it or did I see a sticky which explained how to set up this printer. I've just took it out of the box and haven't a clue where to start. I know I shouldn't use the inks in the box so I bought some sublijet-r inks which were partially used but still about 75% full so thought these could be good to practice with. I will be printing from photoshop

Full setup on Sawgrass support site, you'll need to register the printer to download powerdriver.

Bear in mind a new Ricoh will pull a lot of inks into the empty lines so these carts will look very depleted straight away.

Thanks Justin. Yes I learnt that the hard way with my Epson inkjet. Expecting 400 prints and got about 80 �� thanks for your help. I'll pop over to the sawgrass site. So do I use the cd that came with the printer at all?

You'll need the printer driver but they talk you through downloading this. If your struggling let me know, I have the PDFs.

Thank you I think I've downloaded the power driver successfully. Right now I'm going to sound really stupid. When ive tried to print it says the printer is offline. I have connected an Ethernet cable to the printer and laptop, is that right or do I need to do something else?

Check in your printers section to make sure you don't have more than one installed.

I have a couple but the one defaulted and ticked is the PowerDriver v4 which is the printer selected when I print in Photoshop
