Mug images

Hi everyone, me again haha
Now I have kind of sorted my sublimation issues I've had another come up. I've brought a few templates from mugshots and they print fine. I've tried to make myself a mug with an image I found on Google but the print has banding again, I thought it was due to it not being of good quality, so I tried a large version of the image and changed the size of image in photoshop to 300 dpi. Is it just because I'm using Google images? I wanted to put a game of thrones map on my mug instead of buying one.

When you print the GoT Image you get banding, do you get banding with any other print (example one of Martins templates?)

If you dont could be a possible corrupt file from google?

I have no problems with Martins templates at all its just the images I pull from google, is there a certain size or word I should use when searching

When searching google images there is a search filter across the top to filter for Large, Extra Large images

What about a photo you have taken, or image you already have?

I recon u need to check the print settings ..did you change the paper type to matt or what ever you normally use...bad images only make it blurry or pixelated not banding .
