If these things are so good then why is it that everytime I see a used one for sale or a SunAngel system that they always seem to say "hardly used" or come with almost full boxes of media.

Might be of interest to someone who wants to have a go...... must admit that the first is the best offer I have ever seen for one.

eBay item number:262546156321

or this one again hardly used..... https://www.gumtree.com/p/printers/oki- ... 1177975034

Because people think "I can do that". They jump right in with both feet without any knowledge or experience or customer base. Most think that they have hit the golden nugget idea when in reality everyone and his dog is doing it and for a lot less.

Nothing to do with the printer, they are very good printers and the papers are superb. I personally prefer the transfers made by the OKI than those created by my Versacam any day of the week, and the new T.one paper is really golden stuff.

TBH, the Ebay one is overpriced for a VAT business to purchase and I don't buy the "reason" for selling either :-)

It was all that extra new toner carts that make the price better, those refils especially the white are an arm and a leg or two.

I personally would still purchase brand new at that price. As a business I do not look at the freebie consumables as that is a short term patch. What really matters is the long term running cost and any sort of guarantee that you get on the machine etc.

For me to consider looking at a secondhand machine it has to be less than half the new price or come from a main dealer... not ebay :-)

Also when I purchased mine the other week the training that came with the delivery was most probably the thing that sold it for me. I've not made one mistake since making the transfers and tshirts.
but currently undergoing my own washability tests on wow and T1

Truthful? to early to tell.
made 25 tshirts with tone and had one brought back because it came off in wash. now I was using 3or 4 different types of tshirt material so maybe one of these didn't agree.
I've made myself 2 tshirts using Wow. one was white poly the other was black cotton. so far the white one has lasted 2 washes with no fade. the black one I'm yet to wear but will soon give it a go.
so not much testing yet myself but made about 50 tshirts in a week and haven't had any mistakes.

Do you include washing instructions? It would be very strange for 1 to come back when you have done 25 so far. It might be that you forgot to seal the print with the NRP sheet perhaps?

Did you ever get that Welsh Splat tee back that had the Versacam transfer peeling?

No the guy was a mate, so told him i would rectify it, it was printed before i received the training, so now i will do one per instructions and see how it goes.
