Hey All,

I'm just posting this on the off-chance it helps anyone with a similar issue.
I have an ST3042 which has been running well up-to-date.

Yesterday I started having problems with print not transferring as well. I was having to increase the time by around 30-40%
As problems go, this was a good one to have as the fix was simple.

Temperature check seemed OK (don't have heat gun but product felt about right and after making so many you get a good feel for it).
Vacuum was still reading just below 0.08.
No holes in fitted silicone sheet that wraps around product.

Wasted a few items and racked my noggin for a while but anyway, I found the problem.

The silicone sheet (although it appeared O.K) was just worn out.
The vacuum hose was sucking the centre-point of the sheet down too far into the hose so that there was still some air remaining in the rest of the tray. Hence, the product wasn't being wrapped/vacuumed enough.

I changed the silicone sheet and all is well again.

That was my last sheet so hoping I can find a UK supplier of these.
I keep a spare of almost every part but bought these when I got the machine direct from China.

Only thing I don't have is a temp sensor and (now) fitted silicone sheets.
If I have to buy from China I will but if you know of a UK supplier please do let me know.

Thanks :)

Thanks for that - I've just ordered a few along with a temp sensor from Vesub (china) but will know for next time)

Thanks - I knew I could repair holes but previous one had just worn out.

A couple of days after posting this it actually stopped heating up. I thought it would be the temp sensor but actually one of the wires that goes from sensor to element had broken.
All good again now.
