If you want real low end.....

Actually the appearance is very good with very neat corners and full wrap. The canvas is cut to size and stapled to a cardboard carrier that folds into a frame. It is only when you pick it up you see it is not stretched on wood. How a customer would react would be interesting but the price point means you could offer a product to compete with big box companies. Can provide pics of finished item if anyone interested. The 12" version can also be printed on a 17" printer.

Nope, not looking low end! I've seen the horrible cardboard systems.

Ststem I mention above is all wood, going to get a set to see if I can replicate.

Not sure if this is of interest, seems to be a halfway house and just as much work as using "proper" bars and wedges.

Funny you should say that..............

I ordered a few of these bars off eBay to take a look at and really liked them. Very simple but effective system and the end product looks superb. The bars are very light in comparison but the whole system works well.

I'm in the process of ordering the thicker pro bars as well as some more of the standard bars as I intend to run with these, see how it goes.

Initially costs appeared much higher than traditional canvas bars but once I'd approached the supplier I was offered a very healthy discount which has made them perfectly affordable when you take into account the reduction in labour.

Just watched the site video's. May also get some to try but not convinced they would be much quicker than my system but I am not going to churn out a lot. The corner tension wedges on the pro system look like they will fall out eventually as there is little "wedge" action so to speak. The standard ones look much better. Can you let us know how you get on.

The standard ones work great and very fast. Supplier is having to order pro bars in as it appears no-one buys them opting for the smaller standard bars which are much cheaper.

If you contact them, speak to Wayne and drop my name in, let me know what price they offer.

Invest in a quickmate,it saves so much time & you don't need to use canvas pliers either.I do a 30x20 inch canvas in around 4 minutes using it & it gets it drum tight.
