Hey everyone,

I joined this forum yesterday, I came across it while searching on Google. This forum looks good so lots of information is available.

I am from England, West Midlands Coventry

I am looking to start a business selling mugs online. this will be my first business. By navigating the forums posts I already figured out which printer I need to buy and which heat press :)

I hope you all have a good day:smile:

what attracts you to this business idea?
what attributes/skills/qualities do you have that will drive you to succeed?
how will you find your market?

I'm not being mean, but these are essential questions you should be asking yourself.

+1 Unless you have something which sets you apart from the many many sellers already offering sub mugs I would stop and do some more research. Most will enter the market and compete on price. Its too late there is little to no margin in online mugs.

good luck. if you dont try you will never know. and you only learn by your own mistakes. just make sure they are not too expensive. and always way up the risk vs reward.

Above comments may initially sound harsh but it really is sound advice. You can waste a lot of money going down a path you think you'll make money on, listen to the folk on here that have been there and done that and learn from there (our) mistakes if you can. Best of luck with it all.

Design is the key, like froggy says you got to be different and don't expect results overnight it can be a long hard slog.

another tip!
don't be cheap
better to sell 5 mugs at £10 than 10 mugs at £5 - by a long way!
Probably need to sell over 20 mugs at £5 to match the profit from 5 at 10 - and you are working 4+ times harder!
