So I've have been looking a vast variety of starter kits that are available to start printing mugs.
One kit that takes my fancy is:

now i have seen other kits from other suppliers that include the sg400 printer but with different mug presses such as the mega avalable here:
https://www.megauk.com/sublimation/subl ... r_kits.php
Essentially i am after some advice regarding a decent starter package, preferably with an aditional element to enable printing on 6oz mugs. Any recommendations or advice?

Re: Mug printing starter package
I use the Galaxy Mug press pro kit (without the 6oz heating element) with Subliblanks 10oz mugs, TexPrintR paper, with the same ink and printer. I am happy with the quality of the equipment and the results that I get.
Some other popular options for mug presses are (in no particular order & this is an incomplete list):
http://www.printerowners.co.uk/hardware ... -press.htm
http://www.xpres.co.uk/c-326-heat-press ... xpres.aspx
http://www.dyesublimationsupplies.co.uk ... arter-kits
You will get very acceptable results from any of the above mug press/kits. You will get up and running and start learning the craft of mug design and production. If you find that you then wish to get a more professionally built machine like the Adkins then you can do so.

Re: Mug printing starter package
Ive used the same start up kit from a different supplier. I sometimes go a while without printing/pressing and as long as I keep the printer maintenance up to date I havent had any issues. Only one page has printed out that I couldnt use, but that was due to me not doing the maintenance properlyVinyl Conflict;115489 wrote:So I've have been looking a vast variety of starter kits that are available to start printing mugs.
