Re: Grrr at event organisers

Post by Kaz »

I've been approached by the local schools and community councils to have a stall at their christmas fayres :D

Only problem is, 4 of them are on the same day, and 3 of them are running at the same time

Now, I know I'm good, but I'm not that good that I can be in 3 places at the one time

Have managed to talk my OH in to doing one of them, me on another and now trying to round up someone to do the third one, oh, and someone else to look after my kids.

You'd think these event organisers would talk to each other so as to gain maximum exposure, but evidently not.

I just hope that next year they are a bit better organised, it will certainly make my life much easier

Yes Paul, they will be :D

I'm not taking loads of stock, in fact, I'm only taking samples and doing it on a made to order basis, with 50% payable on the day, and 50% payable on delivery :D

Been caught out with something else a few years back and won't be caught again ;)
