Hi everyone. Thinking on starting a new sideline!
Re: Hi everyone. Thinking on starting a new sideline!
Hi all, just joined the forum and seems like its bursting with info. Everyone seems very helpful. Quick background, i am considering starting a bit of printing as a little sideline. I was a mechanic for years and due to injury no longer do it anymore. I am looking just something to have a go at, for a hobby, but also to maybe make a few pounds here and there. Can anyone offer advice as to what way i could go about this. I was thinking just along the lines of doing mugs, mouse mats, maybe tshirts etc. Having a car background im thinking of targeting this area of the market, perhaps making mugs and stuff for small independant garages. Not big major companies wanting hundreds of mugs, just the small back street garage wantin half dozen mugs for their staff perhaps. Is the likes of the kits you see on ebay offering a 5in1, 8in1 etc etc, a good enough starting point or are they a waste of time. Any input would be great. Many thanks. Ted.

5 in 1's.......... 4 you won't use and the 5th won't work properly or last very long. Just my opinion

just get a dedicated 1 size mug press.
the long tail can be very long and not very profitable.
