Hi,
I have already wasted 13 mugs in 3 hours and I am really frustrated.
I am having the issue of white line at bottom of the mug and I tried to solve it raising time.
Last configurations where (with ambient temperature of 13ºC): 200ºC - 220 seconds.
With less time, I get white line and with more time machine marks mugs with heat pipe at bottom.
Could be broken my machine? It's new....

How can I solve this? Does anybody know where could be the problem?
Thanks!

Possible reasons:
* Paper not tight enough around mug
* Mug press not tight enough at edges (don't make it very tight though)
* Rubbish mugs
* Cold mug base - heat base before pressing - MANY posts already on this so use the search facility
* If using Sawgrass ink then 170c should be enough and between 160-180s

As above I would say cold mug base. This happens because the overall thickness of the bottom of the mug far outweighs the mug walls which heat up quicker being thinner

what mug press is it im guessing a cheap one sorry if im wrong. I find that these problems are rarely down to the mugs or ink & paper but are nearly always the press

Thanks all for helping.
There are lot of things to considerate and I have to test all of them. I'm affraid that problem could be related to mug press (it's a mug press about 200-250€) due to I have made 2 years ago some mugs with other machine and I was not having these issues.
I understand problems related to small line at bottom but I have not see information about marks of heat pipe and this is what I don't understand... maybe my machine is a rubbish and machine does not give heat uniformelly.
