Hi,
Saw this vinyl cutter on my price range but is stepper motor, and read that servo motor cutter is more efficient, reliable and less noisy, more expensive.
What do advise? servo or stepper?
With optical eye keeps a tracking cut correct?

Re: Servo motor vs stepper motor vinyl cutter
I had one of these when I first started. They are a real pain in the but to set up but once you have it sorted they are great to learn with as long as you don't want to do big jobs on them. I used my for about 18mths and then was able to upgrade to a Graphtec.
If you can afford it keep a look out for a second hand Roland.
