Does it really matter if you convert your image to a Bitmap if it was done in vector format? Just curious.

No, not as long as you scale up a vector image before converting to bitmap, instead of scaling up the bitmap.

yes, it matters, for a zillion different reasons. why would you want to?
a bit map can be perfect for specific situations, and is easier to share, but you need a different one for each situation.
A vector is always the same goodness!
