If you need anything printing just give me a shout, I'm happy to send transfers, drop ship items, whatever you need. it does sound like you've reached the end of your tether and I can completely understand why :-(

If you decide to go back into Sublimation, buy a Sawgrass setup and I''ll ensure you get the support you're paying for.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your offers, good to find a tight community!

The Epson is getting picked up on Monday afternoon, city ink are recalling it for testing. Hopefully I never see it again haha!

I'll also help out getting you a bunch of free prints ready to press if you want to try and get through that month backlog?

... and for what it's worth - I have the same printer, and had my CIS replaced by them also in the last few weeks - but now I've got it printing perfectly if I can help?

Thanks irishprint, I've cancelled all the orders now though, lost my power seller status and got my account suspended! But I appreciate the offer.

I decided not to wait for the printer to be collected and sent it back myself first thing this morning, hopefully it'll be tested on Monday and confirmed as a POS!

I found a thread on here from 2015 with 2 or 3 other users with what sounded like the exact same problem, no ink being applied to the paper apart from once after the initial priming of the CISS. Will be interesting to see what the testing CIE do discovers.

Try changing to individual inks instead of ciss, i had the same problem, changed over-took an age to get the printheads unblocked,i cleaned the printheads 4 times then a full colour print then repeat! got there in the end & now when i do get a printhead problem i usually only have to clean it a couple of times & only it blocked once last year.Hope this helps!

I had problems with my Canon Pixma on CISS and switched to refillable carts. Never had a problem since.

I dont think this is a blocked print head problem, the pages in the end were completely white, no trace of any ink.

I could understand it being catastrophically blocked if it was an old/used printer, but it was brand new.

I think the issue was that the printer was not pulling ink through either the print head itself or the CISS, this is why it initially worked after the priming and then just got worse and worse.

I haven't heard back from CityInk since I sent them the printer.

Currently browsing for printer/ink combos now that AREN'T Richoh/sawgrass combinations but struggling. Have missed sublimating since this started, itching to get going again!

CIE contacted me today, they have confirmed that the printer is dead.

New one should be here tomorrow.

Fingers, arms, toes and legs crossed.
