Re: Problems with name for a mug!

Post by James990 »

I have since just before Christmas been selling the El Grande mug again, but as they are larger than the standard mug, I have listed them on fleebay as Jumbo, I have sold over 100 so far, but just recently have had two complaints that they are not Jumbo.

I have listed them as 15oz Jumbo mugs, I also give the size:- With the overall height of 115mm x 85mm in diameter approx, and has a 15oz capacity.

So should I change the description, suggestions on a postcard to.......

I had thought of doing that, but as most people wouldn't have a clue what El grande meant, discounted the idea. Ho Hum.

So far it has only been two out of 100, and both of them are not English!

I guess people have in their mind a rather large mug from a certain sportswear retailer...

You can't please all the folk......up here they insist on calling them cups and not mugs! Yes, cups are indeed something different!

Youve given dimensions so I'd stick to my guns :-)
