I dont know anything about these poratble apps.
Are you talking about mainstream stuff like Coreldraw or are they all free Linux type stuff?

well I seem to have giot everythinbg on to run the main puter.
All that is except the drivers to run my networlk card.
Running off a belking USB wireless adaptor is very frustrating as it drops the connection whenever it feels like a rest :(

Hi, there is this program you can use called Driver Genius Pro.
I have used it for computers I'm setting up and have no idea what hardware is running on them.
It automatically detects and installs the drivers for you.
It costs about $30, but can be found cheaper.
