Logo needed for t-shirt, possibly screen print?
Re: Logo needed for t-shirt, possibly screen print?
Hey,
A customer has asked for a quote for some work t-shirts. I can only do vinyl and the logo is not suitable for this. My customer did mention that his previous shirts were screen printed. I have been looking into this and thought plastisol transfers might be good for this? Its going to be a single breast logo and maybe a large logo across the back but this is yet to be agreed. The logo is single colour and I would describe it as a royal crown with 2 lions.
If anyone can help me or point me in the right direction on who can then that would be grateful. If costs can be kept down to a minimum then that would be great too. I'm hoping this will lead to further business.
Thanks
Lee

If it is a single colour why can't it be done in vinyl? Any chance of seeing the logo as that may help others point you in the right direction.

Agreed, would be good to see the logo. There is another option, you could get screen transfers made and apply with your heat press as and when needed, this works brilliantly.

I think the design is too intricate to be cut out of vinyl (thin lines and swirls). I like the idea of screen transfers as I can press these myself. I will try and attach a sample logo. Thanks or your help so far.

Eek, yes, weeding would drive you mad! lol.
How many do you have to print?

I hate weeding too!!
Im not too sure at the moment. The customer said they wanted 20 to begin with however they want to see a sample first to check for quality. So I can understand the initial one off might be expensive.

@paul: my customer is not too fussed with regards to colour of the t-shirt. I was thinking of sublimation however I really am not impressed with the polyester t-shirts that are available, they are paper thin compared to cotton t-shirts.
@calvinabc: I did consider embroidery however it's going to be costly. If there was a larger quantity being ordered then I would consider it.

Just thinking about this, I suppose I could give him the option for embroidery, it will be better quality and more durable I suppose. What would be an approximate cost for this? I know the image is not too clear and I've not given you the exact size for breast logo but just a rough figure would be great. Thanks
