Re: red hue on mugs

I was doing 36 mugs 12 of the same design, two different design (24 mugs) perfect but the last 12 of a design that I never had a problem with before they were the last 12 mugs left to do, didn't notice till I moved them to shop where the light is much better they had a slight pink reddish hue on the white bits of the mug. Any idea what it could be. Its not the design as I have used it many times before. The best way to describe is a haze.f

Did any software settings change? Perhaps your program didn't pick up the icc profile? I've had similar issues with icc.

What type of mugs were they? May be a problem with the coating.

They all came out of the same box, They came from Colgraph, never had a problem before and I use all the time. 11oz ones. I check the design but is fine, the hue appeared in different parts of artwork, the icc profile stayed the same. Going to do another mug with the same artwork just to check everything, Its frustrating.

Had problems with printer no matter what cleans I did which didn't help. So as a last resort I look empty cartridges (cleaned) fill them with cleaning fluid and pop them in and did a couple of heads cleans Did a nozzle check and perfect. Put in the sublimation inks and printed now back to excellent printing. Hope this helps someone else with blockages or ink inside the printer.

It was GT1-clean. Hope this helps. Done my other two printers and both are like new. Wondering if to put the way I did it in tips section. I also had branding issue and this has disappeared too

That would be great if you could add it to the TIPS section. I have a second Ricoh 3110 that I bought second-hand and have not used yet so it could probably do with a good cleaning first.

When I back to shop tomorrow will find out where, it's from a wholesale in uk. The one I use is a plain plastic bottle and the liquid is red.
