Can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work but wanted to ask

Re: Carrier Sheet with Graphtec CE6000?
Is it possible to use cutting mats (carrier sheets) with the larger Graphtec models, CE6000 etc? I know you can on the Silhouette and I'm looking at cutting shapes from A3 card so it would be useful.

I believe it is possible Justin. No need to buy special Graphtec mats either as mats for Cricut, Cameo, etc should do just as well.
The main thing to be careful with is the tackiness of the mat. Too tacky and your card or paper will stick so hard to the mat you'll be unable to remove it without making a mess. Believe me, been there, done that!
Personally, I use cheap kid's 'Messy Mats' with my Silver Bullet rather than pay through the nose for new mats.

The Messy Mats aren't sticky but I lightly spray them with the excellent 3M ReMount spray (green can). If the mat is too sticky you can dab it with a soft towel or fleece to remove some of the stickiness.

You'll need to shop around for best prices of 3M spray as it's a bit expensive, but goes a long way.

Thanks for that, I gave my carrier sheets away when i sold a Silhouette a while ago or I'd have 'had a go' lol.
I'll get a cheap sheet and see what happens, appreciate the advice

To be honest Justin, I find the supplied sheets often are too rigid and buckle a lot after use. The Messy Mats are more pliable and go on and on with no buckling at all and just the occasional light spraying of 3M ReMount spray to keep them tacky. I cut everything from thin paper to magnetic sheets on my mats.
