Sawgrass SG400 printer Error message SC (52000)

Has anyone come across this error message before? I've searched online and contacted sawgrass support with no luck.

I've replaced all the ink cartridges and waste ink, did a head clean, then this error popped up, any ideas?

Did you ever sort this problem? I have an SG800 that has displayed the same problem. Sawgrass have said it means the vertical motor on the printer has failed/is failing and that despite the printer having only done 1000 pages, because it is out of warranty the printer will need to be replaced at my cost. They have not offered a repair option.

io have the same problem
