Take a look at Ink Express as well, Premium Member discount available with them.
Re: ricoh 3110dn ink usage on standby!
Thanks for that Justin, I'll have a look. Are the results as good as the sawgrass as i've never used anything other than that and sublisure, longevity of prints etc all good I take it?
Re: ricoh 3110dn ink usage on standby!
I think i'll be going for ink express refillable carts and inks, give the system a clean out and dump the expensive stuff..job done...I hope....and if anyone can give me advice on the setup and quality of the prints etc i'd be grateful

Re: ricoh 3110dn ink usage on standby!
We all want to produce quality items that we're proud to sell, but paying extortionate prices for inks when other inks of comparable performance are available at a fraction of the price doesn't help profits, especially in the cut-throat business of sublimation.

To be quite honest i have used refillable carts and the cheaper ink from ink express for months now and i have had no bother yet with any mugs we print. Also there paper is good also. Never had a fault with them anything i order arrives on time. Great guys to work with.

Re: ricoh 3110dn ink usage on standby!
I have 2 ricohs and I switch them off and use them every other day or so, and I've never had any problem with them performing long maintenance - they work well despite being off for days at a time.
Re: ricoh 3110dn ink usage on standby!
I think I will be ordering from you guys so will get an order in to InkExpress probably tomorrow.
Alex, if you have some samples I'd love to see them but going from the feedback so far all sounds good and a hell of a lot cheaper for refillable carts and inks. I have paper from subliblanks I believe (no branding or label on the back) which I think should be ok i take it, i've never had any issues with it?
Do InkExpress deal with the printer profile or is it just a case of filling the carts, flushing the ink and printing using the sawgrass profile?
Many thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
We provide profiles with all of our inks so you'll be able to install them and get running quickly.
Should you get our refillable package just run a head clean once or twice on the printer after installing the cartridges to ensure you are printing with our ink in the lines.
If you are getting on well with Subliblanks paper carry on with it.
We do supply paper and you'll more than likely get a sample pack with your order, but we always recommend you try a variety of brands to see which you prefer.
Once you find one that you think gives the best results stick with.
I've attached a few pictures of the mugs we pressed from our Ricoh machine with our Sublisharp inks and papers for reference.
Cheers,
Christian
