Just wondering if anyone has any suppliers for printed oil cloth?
is my best option to try and find someone who will coat it for me? Has anyone got this done before?
Oil cloth
Re: Oil cloth
We've done it in the past - we printed the fabric meterage, outsourced the coating (after many not good enough attempts at doing it in house) and then we cut and sew into wash bags, makeup bags etc
How many metres/designs are you wanting?

Re: Oil cloth
Hi
the customer was after 20metres each of two or three designs.
i think that sounds like what they are after. If you have any suggestions for who to use I would greatly appreciate it.
thanks

Re: Oil cloth
What width fabric are they wanting for the 20 metres.
We're currently at 1 metre wide width, although in the process of getting 1m60cm width set up, just hitting a few teething problems with the imported rotary press motors wanting 60Hz electricity (and so went bang) so we're getting new motors in which are 50Hz!

Re: Oil cloth
They are after 155-160cm. I have found someone that will print for £14 and then coating seems to be around £5 a meter.
Re: Oil cloth
Those prices seem fair enough, once set we would maybe be a little lower, but as not up and running at full width, you'd be best going with the supplier you've found.
