I want to press some thin fragile items, so looking for recommendations on a smaller swing away press. Are any of those cheap Signzworld or similar presses up to the job? Sometimes you find the odd gem.

I had exactly one like this but black from Corlagraph.
https://signzworld.co.uk/shop/23-x-30cm ... s-machine/

It was a really reliable little gem! A4 in size, maybe tiny bigger. under £100

well worth the money! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbaT7xzh0-E

I had the one Paul linked to from Signzworld. I loved it, I think because I could actually move it lol

I ended up using it all the time instead of my normal press so it only lasted 6 months or so but did all my hen, stag and business tshirts on it. I thought it well worth the money. I didn't use it for sublimation as I do very little of that but it was great for garment flex and transfers.

Hi Paul,
Would this heat press be OK to print/press photo slates - as in height clearance and consistant pressure?
Cheers John

Yes, John. You can see me printing actual slate on it here: https://youtu.be/bRPjOBeLpU0

Thanks for the info Paul - may be buying one as my current press is working intermittently.

I've also got the Coralgraph version of that press and it has been great. Well worth the money (I don't press that much but it has lasted probably 7 years or more so far and still works great.

Sun Fly do a double sided heat press, which would be really handy, but I can't find a retailer for them and they didn't get back to me on alibaba. I bought the Signzworld press. I sent one of these back years ago due to quality issues before, but I'll give it another go. Couldn't possibly buy from Coralgraph though, since they directly compete and undercut all of us by selling slogan mugs!
