Re: Hi from a frustrated newbie

Post by april24april »

Hi,

My name is April - I'm from Hebburn near Newcastle upon Tyne. I only started subbing a couple of weeks ago and i feel like i've got mugs nailed! Yay. The problem i'm having is getting photos to print at a good quality. I have an Epson ET7750 and using Trupix paper. I've had my icc set up for me but all of my photos are printing out slightly blurry and I cant get them good quality at all. Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks
April

Ensure paper is tight before pressing and then post pressing you need to cool down the mug as quickly as possible otherwise the process will continue hence perhaps the blurring. If it is a good quality mug then water dip into room temperature water to stop the process and then place on a rack with a desk fan pointed at the mugs.

What ink do you have ? You've ordered a custom ICC profile ?

Your original question was about blurring which is nothing to do with ICC. It is a production issue.
