Really like the look of the sawgrass sg400 but the replacement inks seem quite pricey. I’ve seen companies offering non genuine ink refills at a much cheaper price than the sublijet inks. Has anyone tried using non genuine inks before - if so what are the results like?
Also, would you recommend another printer similar to sawgrass that has cheaper inks ?
thanks in advance
Pablo

Talk with inkexperts.co.uk who advertise on this forum. Totally recommend them and moved away from SG inks years ago onto Sublinova Smart inks.

I can second chatting with Ink Experts. - They have an account on here too.

Be aware that a recent update to the Sawgrass VPM software prevents printing via VPM/Creative Studio using non-Sawgrass inks, although I believe you can still print direct from Photoshop/Corel etc.
Ink Experts will no doubt be able to advise fully on the current situation.
