Hello, I've got a customer who'd like a photo jigsaw doing but at 500- 1000 piece size it's larger than we can do.
She's previously tried ordering one somewhere online and was very disappointed with the result (and the extortionate price). I thought I'd ask if anyone here could help instead - she's happy with card rather than wood, but wants the A3+ size.
Kind regards
Sally

Re: request for photo jigsaw printing - A3 / 500 pieces
A3 puzzle 29x40cm is 300 pieces and A2 puzzle 38x52cm is 500 pieces. I can do them but that quantity is best to import it from China directly and then do them.
In other words i can order them from China, import them, print them and do them and send them to you to UK, i am in Spain. Have color calibration tools so high quality result. On that quantity 1e per printed sheet + 1.5 per sublimated piece + what the puzzle cost + shipping and import fees. Probably at around 6-7 per piece price at your door. They sell them here in Spain blank cheapest at 6.50. Contact me if interested.

Thanks so much for this info Boyan - I think you're right, it would be simplest to produce ourselves. We'll have to look at whether we can get enough orders in
Appreciate you taking the time to reply though.

Sally, try some of the smaller A4 puzzles available in the UK before lashing out on these. The results really aren't that great compared to proper puzzles that are printed before die-cutting. Personally, I find them too glossy for starters.

Definitely agree with you there, webtrekker!
We did do some A4 ones as an experiment a couple of years ago - we had a few orders for their quirky gift appeal, but then we decided not to promote them any more.
However a customer now desperately wants one of a place that's special to her; I've shown her a couple of samples we had left and she doesn't mind that they're inferior to commercially produced ones.
So, as our platen size won't print to the size she wants, I thought I'd enquire here
My customer's aware that it might not be possible - I said I'd let her know the outcome.
