Printing onto Ceramic Plates

Hi there,

I wonder if you can help....I have managed to get a relatively good print onto ceramic plates and even on the rim. However, I notice the outer edge of the transfer paper is appearing once transfer is done. Why would this be happening? Too hard pressure? Any advice welcome.
