Are all 4 pin mug press heat blankets the same? Ish...

My old (8+ years old) DF1 mug presses from BMS, need new blankets and they are the 4 pin connectors. BMS don't have any, so I guess eBay it is. BUT are the connectors all the same?

Meanwhile my 3 aadkins presses are going to need new elements and my old DK3 must need one at some point! Could be an interesting few months.:rolleyes:

No, they are not. My DF1 blanket gave up the ghost earlier this year and i have bought a number of blankets with the correct pins, but none have worked. Had to buy a new press in the end.

Are you any good at soldering?
you can check the connections for the element and temp sensors and swap around if need be.
The voltage will not make any difference to the controller but it will with the blanket. (Most are the same voltage anyway)
