Seen this while scrolling through Facebook and it looks pretty much like what I'm after, but I'm a bit dubious as the page has got 26 likes and the website looks a bit basic. The more experienced guys on here - what is your take on this? Are there better starter packages out there but kind of like this?

Never heard of this company and they don't display their postal address (Or I can't easily find it on website) which they should be doing.

They're including a laptop with Photoshop installed, interested to know what version this is and if it's preloaded...oh wait, it is pre-loaded....

12 months training....with someone we've never heard of.

Save your money, spend £10 on 12 months membership here and go to a reputable company. This supplier can't even state the make of the machine/inks etc.

£385 for 12 month course.....all of that info is on here for free....make of the deal what you will ;-)

Simon Jones - Owner of Sublifix and Partner in Sublimation Experts
Hi my name is Simon Jones and I have a huge passion for dye sublimation printing, it’s a massive part of my life. Over the years, I tried many various products for dye sublimation printing, and printing onto garments using different machinery and I know which products really work and which don't.
I have been in the sublimation world for 25 years plus and during this current global pandemic I have been giving a lot of thought to how I can help new business owners learn about sublimation . For the last 3 months I have locked myself away and I have created a online course where I can teach you everything you need to know about sublimation”. If you are a beginner struggling to understand what equipment to buy or where to buy the right products or even someone who has been sublimating for years my course has something for everyone.
I will provide you with 121 help and support and there is no such thing as a wrong question. So if you have questions drop me an email to the address below or give me a call and I will happily discuss how the course can help your learning grow on your sublimation journey.

£250 printer, £250 press, £150 mug press, £400 laptop. Not best of value.
With Windows 7 and pre installed software the laptop might be secondhand.

Ok, thanks all for the feedback.

In regards to the online courses he puts on, does anyone know of anywhere else that does that too please?

Any experienced DSF regulars in/around Coventry willing to do some 1-2-1 training for £385 inc VAT?

Not necessarily. I find that I personally learn things better in the way that this guy has laid things out on paper, rather than try and watch YouTube videos and read articles on how to do things. Just wondered if there were any courses as such which are similar to this. On the face of it, £385 seems quite high, but perhaps that is a decent buy considering my knowledge and experience.
